Get Involved.
Everyone Can Act!
You don’t have to be an artist, a Marie Kondo clone, or a policy expert. You just have to care and want to make a difference.
Get involved with Little Corners Initiative
Schools, teachers, youth groups, families and community organisations can organise or take part in a local clean-up with Little Corners Initiative in Berlin.
Our aim is to make neighbourhood clean-ups simple to organise, easy to carry out and immediately visible in their impact.
We are also developing the Little Corners Initiative app to guide groups through planning, organising and documenting a clean-up from start to finish.
-
• Simple, practical clean-ups adapted to the age and size of the group
• Environmental learning through action – children see the immediate impact of what they do
• Creative elements such as messages, drawings or “Find of the Day”
• Privacy-safe photo documentation and simple impact results
• A shared experience that builds ownership, teamwork and civic responsibility
-
1. GET STARTED – choose your group, location and clean-up.
2. GET READY – organise the participants and materials.
3. TAKE ACTION – clean up your local area together.
4. CAPTURE THE IMPACT – record the result with a few photos, simple figures and a creative contribution.
5. CELEBRATE & SHARE – make your group’s contribution visible and add it to the collective Little Corners impact. Our upcoming Little Corners Initiative app will guide groups through the whole process step by step.
-
• Suitable for primary and secondary school students
• For classes, schools, Scouts, youth groups and community organisations
• Flexible format – from a simple clean-up to a wider school project
• Materials can be provided or organised locally
• Activities can be run in German or English
