The Challenge

The tunnel was heavily littered with cigarette butts, broken glass, packaging, and other waste. Cleaning it as a family required protective gear, careful inspection, and removing hazardous items to keep our children safe.

The Goal

Our aim was to make the tunnel safe and welcoming for everyone, especially children. We monitored how quickly litter returned and began thinking about more sustainable, long-term improvements.

What We Did

We cleaned the tunnel as a family, marked unsafe areas, removed hazardous waste, and contacted the authorities to discuss next steps and improvement ideas.
